ClipKing privacy

Updated 27 October 2026

ClipKing is an independent video editing tool. Footage, saved edits and source lists remain in your browser until you choose to upload. Optional remembered footage uses browser storage.

Connecting an account uses Google or TikTok authorization. ClipKing receives a channel identifier, display name, access token and, when provided, refresh token. Tokens are encrypted in Secure, HttpOnly cookies, bound to your ChatGPT identity, and expire from the browser after 30 days. They are not accessible to page scripts.

When you click an upload button, the exported video and relevant title, description, audience and visibility settings are transferred through ClipKing hosting to your chosen platform. ClipKing does not intentionally retain uploaded video on its server. Hosting and platform providers may process technical request data under their own policies. ClipKing does not sell your connected-account data or use it for advertising.

Disconnect clears the local connection cookie. Revoke the app in Google or TikTok settings to remove its platform permission. Delete browser site data to remove local edits and remembered videos. Videos already uploaded must be deleted on their destination platform.

Google API data is used only to provide the account connection and upload features you request. ClipKing's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
